Muxbal translates to "surrounded by clouds" and grows on the slopes of the Tacana volcano on the border of Guatemala. Coffee was first introduced to Mexico in the 19th Century from Jamacai and is now the 5th largest producer in the world (5 million bags per year) and with 75% of farms less than 2 hectares.
